They claim that they want your bank account so that the money can be wired into it. But no money goes in, it only goes out and it’s done. You’re broke.

Scammers will stop at nothing and constantly hit all the free online dating software sites as well as using stolen credit cards to hit the paying dating sites. I’ll show you how to watch out for them.

Most scammers come out of Nigeria. So first of all, you don’t need to approve them. Make sure that members can’t do anything on your site without having an approved profile. You can spot little odd things in the profile. Most scammers like to use the words “God Bless You” in their emails and profiles. Watch out for that. Watch out for emails that claim they are so glad they found you. No one is that interested in you when you first get an email. They know nothing about you so claiming that you are an angle and can see the rest of our lives together, then you need to delete them from your dating software site. Just read the profile. Read it carefully. You will spot them and then after a few times of spotting them, you will cut down on the scammers that hit your dating software site.

Spammers - Spammers will come into your dating software site and promote their own sites. You can stop this by not allowing people to do things without an approved profile. Free sites will work that way too. You can put filters into the site to stop words and characters like “Http”, “WWW”, “@” and “.com”. These will help cut down on spammers.

Don’t let dating software members post signatures in their forum threads. Don’t allow html in the threads as well. Use moderators and keep checking your site. The reason they put URL’s in their threads is because they want links to their sites and some dating software site forums are easy targets.
