If you are alive then you probably have heard of Twitter. If you haven’t then wow, you really haven’t been keeping up to date with things happening on the web but anyway, Twitter, nonetheless, is a microblogging feature to let your people know what you are doing. Basically you “Tweet” what you are doing in a 140 character max field. Those who follow you will get updates on what you or your dating site is doing.
How do I use Twitter with my dating software? It’s simple. The more people that you have following you, the more people will find out about your site and your news. But how do you get followers you ask? Well, that part is a little more involved but it can be done with a few clicks of the mouse.
First you need to setup a Twitter account. It takes just a couple minutes to do it. Then fill out your account info and put your website URL. That way people know about your account. Next you need to start following people. Login to your Twitter account and browse the categories to find something that fits your type of dating site. If you are a Filipino Dating site then you can check out the travel categories as well as possibly some relationship categories. Then you want to start following people. Why do you need to follow people? Because if you follow someone, they are more inclined to follow you. Do not spam though. Do not sit there and follow, follow, follow.
